The Gatlin Gulch Fire is located approximately six miles SW of Boulder, MT. in the area of the Elder Creek Campground on the Butte District of the Beaverhead-Deerlodge NF. First reported on 31 JUL 21 at 1405, this wildfire is currently estimated at 60 acres. The Type 3 IMT on scene continues to cut trail and clear a path in for equipment as 4MA and the Sikorski Skycrane commence running attacks with the water bucket and 2,600 gallon water drops under the oversight of Air-Attack.
