4 Type-6 Engines along with multiple pieces of heavy equipment are responding to an emerging incident approximately 8 miles south of Swan lake. Fire is burning in slash and timber. The current fire behavior is isolated tree torching with small crown runs. Crews are establishing control lines and beginning suppression efforts. Whitetail Creek Road and the southern half of Porcupine Creek Road are closed and firefighting personnel ask that people stay clear of the area. There are concerns over future lightning and increased winds with the forecasted hot and dry weather. No structures are threatened at this
