The Lodge at Deadwood in South Dakota

Blog

The Lodge at Deadwood  Gaming Resort is one of the newest, most beautiful Deadwood hotels. When you arrive at the lodge, you won’t be able to take your eyes off the breathtaking panoramic view of the Black Hills and the high plains of Western South Dakota.

Featuring 140 rooms and suites, The lodge also has two on-site restaurants, a fitness center, gift shop, a water playland and a Las Vegas-style casino. During this corona virus era, check with the front desk on playland availability and if you need reservations to comply with city and state pool occupancy guidelines.

The lodge has been following the guidance of the City of Deadwood and the South Dakota Governor to follow COVID-19 precautions to make guests feel safe and comfortable.

There’s also a hotel trolley service that can take you to popular sites around town, including The Adams Museum, historic Main Street, Mt. Moriah Cemetery and Broken Boot Gold Mine.

The casino has more than 280 slot machines and the largest game table in town. It’s also home to a Rounds Poker Room.

Midway between South Dakota’s Mount Rushmore National Memorial and Wyoming’s Devils Tower National Monument, it’s a convenient 1-hour and 15-minute drive to either attraction.
