Incident Overview: The goal of this project is to reduce the threat of wildfire to private property and values at risk within Wildland Urban Interface areas near the community of Elk City. This project will allow these stands to move toward their historical disturbance pattern and return fire to the landscape in very frequent and frequent fire regimes and promote the restoration of fire resistant stands.
