Incident Overview: The Jack Saddle Fire was originally one of nine fires being managed as the Cottage Grove – Lane 1 Fires. It started on Monday, July 17, 2024.  The North Carolina Incident Management Team took command of the fire on July 23, 2024. The fire merged with the Clark 900 and Quartz Fires on July 28, 2024.
