Incident Overview: The Black Canyon fire was first reported in the morning of August 10, 2024. It is located on private land is located on private land 31 miles northwest of White Sulphur Springs and 31 miles southeast of Cascade, MT. The Montana DNRC County Assist Team (CAT) assumed command of the Black Canyon Fire on Sunday, August 11.
