Incident Overview: The Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest is responding to a new fire about 12 miles southeast of Lincoln near Marsh Creek. The Marsh Creek Fire is estimated to be 4 acres and is active on all sides. The immediate impacts are to hikers on the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail coming between Marsh Creek trailhead and Nevada Mountain.Currently we are sending a helicopter, 2 engines and local resources to respond to the fire.
