Incident Overview: The Soap Fire was reported on the afternoon of Dec. 15 in the Bradshaw Mountains about three miles west of Black Canyon City. The fire started in a steep, rugged area with limited access. The fire has burned in high desert brush and grass on BLM and state lands. The fire size is about 630 acres with 0% containment.
