Incident Overview: Fire crews plan to implement the Hill Unit Prescribed Pile Burn in the Jemez Ranger District as early as January 7th. Depending on weather, ignitions could occur between January 7 to January 10. Ignitions are planned for one day followed by monitoring and patrolling. The unit is located 3 miles along Forest Road 376 from the junction of NM State Road 126 and 376 on the hillside adjacent to Fogon Canyon.
