Incident Overview: On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, Texas A&M Forest Service received a request for assistance for a wildfire in Aransas County. The fire was reported to be very active to extreme with mandatory evacuations in process by 2:00 p.m. Multiple fire departments are assisting with the fire including: Rockport, Fulton, Lamar, Ingleside, Aransas Pass, Goliad, Odem, Sinton, Portland, Gregory, Nueces ESD3, Annaville, Port Aransas and Beeville. Aircraft and resources on the ground are actively engaged in fighting the fire and protecting structures.
