Incident Overview: The Winnemucca Mountain Fire is actively burning in rugged terrain northeast of the City of Winnemucca in Humboldt County, Nevada. The fire was first reported on June 15 and is burning in brush and short grass.Erratic fire behavior was observed, with the fire running downhill, uphill, and flanking side slopes.
