Heading out of Amsterdam this morning and making my way south toward Brussels. I’ll follow the A16, stopping in Breda to fill up the petrol tank before crossing the border into Belgium.
I’m turning the drive into a little adventure with a few stops along the way:
🧀 Gouda
I’ll swing through the old town for a quick wander and a taste of the cheese the city is known for.
🌬️ Kinderdijk
I’ll detour over to the windmills for that classic Dutch scenery and a few photos.
🏙️ Antwerp for lunch
I’ll stop in Antwerp around midday, spend about an hour and forty‑five minutes enjoying lunch and the old town, then continue the journey south.
With the tank topped up, the border ahead, and a full day of exploring planned, it should be a perfect drive down to Brussels.
