It was at this point on this single track road that we came upon a little old lady walking her dog after it had rained. In the USA you slow down when you come across people doing this, and all through Ft. William there were sings posted “Slow – Old People” so I slowed down.
Well apparently this did not sit well with the old lady, as she turns and yells at me “Come on you Fuck’in Arsehole”, we that was a fine welcome to Isle of Skye.
