Kelty Discovery 2-Person Tent Bundle
The Kelty Discovery 2-Person Camp Bundle was a great buy from REI. I bought the bundle back in July of 2020. REI had a promotional deal on it so I go the tent for cheaper than it had been advertised before. Kelty Discovery 2-person camp bundle includes a 2-person tent with waterproof fly, 2 cozy sleeping bags and 2 self-inflating sleeping pads. It’s advertised as a roomy 4-person tent but in reality its only roomy if you stick with 2 persons. If you are looking for a inexpensive starter tent to car camp with, this tent is a good investment. The tent is very easy and quick to set up. The biggest negative is the zipper: it constantly gets caught in the fabric. The sleeping bags and pads are alright for the casual camper, but I’d say the pads are the most basic useable pads. All of that said: This is a good value for a casual camper who wants an all in one starter kit, and doesn’t plan to camp any longer than one or two nights (weekend camping) a couple of times per year. Any more than that you will definitely want to upgrade your kit.
