Blog Scotland 2019

Borve, Harris is a village in Harris in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Borveis also within the parish of Harris, and is on the A859.

Borve has a lovely white sandy beach – one of the nicest Hebridean beaches in The Western Isles. If you walk across the beach and take time to climb the grassy hill slope up to “Macleods Stone” and a little higher to the cairn at the top of the hill you will be rewarded by spectacular views. Between Borve and Horgabost is a lovely red rocky coastline, makes for stunning photographs.

When Jen and I were at Luskentyre Beach we had some decent weather, but as it typically goes in the Outer Hebrides the weather can turn quickly and you can see the clouds moving in blotting out the sun.
